Johor Premium Outlets, Malaysia-Finally open!

As a JB girl, i am seriously glad they have finally opened a premium outlet store in South East Asia, and what better place to have it than good old Johor Bahru! It opens starting from today and sneak previews are from 2-10th December. Official launch would be on 11th December. Although it's not officially launched yet, that did not deter many of my friends from going to check things out, and things look really good! And i am here to share what i have found out about the newest South East Asian shopping must-go!

Outlet stores are where, retailers (mostly high end shops) set up shop to sell past season items or items that are deemed defected.

Why would anyone buy old or defected products? Well, because defects are usually minor and designs are still really pretty even if it is not from the current collection. And of course, this is a chance to purchase 'branded' products at a fraction of the price.

How branded?

Quite branded:

Coach
Salvatore Ferragamo
Burberry
Armani
Polo Ralph Lauren
Michael Kors
CK Calvin Klein
DKNY
Raoul
Versace
Samsonite
Royal Selangor

Moderate:
Adidas
Gap
Guess
Nike
Lacoste
Esprit
G2000
La Senza
Levis
Poney
Puma
Quicksilver
Ripcurl
Roxy
Tomy Hilfiger
ShangHai Tang
Universal traveller
Timberland
Charles and Keith
Sketchers
Clarks
City Chain
Evita Peroni
Bonia
Carlo Rino
Fossil
The Body Shop

I don't know what brands these are *shy*:

Tumi
Canali
Ermenegildo Zegna
Oroton
Flow
Pink Jambu
Geox
Pedro
Fidani Chocolate

This is branded?:
Cotton on
Padini
Vincci
Akemi

As of now 70% of the shops are open and discounts supposedly between 25%-75% everyday. From my friends observation, Coach was going at 20-40% discounts with some wrislets going for around RM80.

Here are some pictures of the place.

I really need to go! I can imagine many Johoreans walking around in Coach from now on, and long jams across the causeway from Singapore to JB!

Be warned though, the weather is a bit loopy these days- one minute it's burning hot, another it's raining cats and dogs.

Here's the address:

Johor Premium Outlets
Jalan Premium Outlets
Indahpura 81000 Kulaijaya
Johor Darul Takzim
Malaysia

And map on how to get there.

If you need more detailed instructions,go to the official site here.

I really am excited to go!Probably going around Christmas!Which shop are you more excited on going to?Let me know and I'll snap a few more pictures on what they have inside.

A big thanks to Reen, for the lovely pictures!

UPDATE: I've visited the place and put up my review here.

a friend bought her coach handbag at 70% discount.

btw,I cant find any With mag as it seems to be sold out in every convenience store around my house T.T
